Magnetic Fly Screen Door

Just wanted to say a) your flyscreen handles were perfect but b) they arrived a week ahead of schedule – and that’s amazing service.

Hubby loves to sleep with the balcony doors open to our bedroom but the mossies spoil that every single night. We had a quote for something very simialr to these screens but it had a permanant frame and track and had a box at the side where the screen did a springy retraction. We thought we’d try the magnetic version of screen first before selling a kidney for the you-beaut version that had a dirt collecting track on the bottom and potential spring loaded dramas. At 160 times the price No kidding- $1300 vs $80 you can imagine our expectations were very very low. Happy to say we are gobsmacked at the quality and functionabilty of the screen, and even if we disregarded the squillion dollars of difference in the products I think this one is better than the permanant one we were looking at originally – the screen fabric is the same and the frame set up is much easier to deal with. I would not hesitate to recomend.

Absolutely stoked with our purchase. We were looking for an inexpensive solution to our fly and spider problem without modifying a rental property. This has proven to be perfect and very efficient and good quality.

I was impressed with the rapid postal service, the recyclable packaging and the simple instructions. I had to shorten the door screen as I wanted it to fit my campervan doorway! I was able to adjust it and even sew it to fit perfectly. It was the ideal solution to keeping out the flies and mosquitoes as I travel around the country!

I ordered a magnetic flyscreen for my front door which opens inwards. The ones found in shops generally only have a 200cm drop and my door needed a 210cm drop, so ordered one in the brown colour to match timber door and surrounds. The colour is great (matches perfectly), is not intrusive and the flyscreen is an exact fit for the door. No kinks or gaps. The quality of the fly screen istself is excellent – better than the cheaper store bought ones. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is that several of the pockets hadn’t any stitching to hold the magnets in! I’ve tentatively used paper clips till I get round to stitching them myself! However, that said, the overall appearance is great, easy to fit and install (I’m a pensioner lady and managed it all by myself)! Also its easy to adjust as well by peeling off the velcro and sticking it down again if you make a mistake! Best of all, its keeping the bugs out … YAY! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER and highly recommended despite the missed pocket stitching! A fault in the quality control at source of manufacture.

Does a great job. I like the option of a white screen – perfect for my bedroom french doors. Very happy and happy to recommend. Delivery was very quick and easy to install. 👍👍
